Who am I?
My name is Delphine DEROBERT MASURE.
I was born in 1973 in Pas-de-Calais.
I lived in Paris, in the Oise region and in China, before returning to France, near Compiègne.
My story
Since childhood, I have been fascinated by light. I observed details, traced shapes, and followed the way shadows revealed from.
Although I first chose a different path, painting never truly left me.
In 2005, I began painting seriously. Self-taught, I explored contrasts, black and white, shadows and light - and discovered abstraction as a space of freedom.
Over time, my work evolved. Aerial photography, landscapes seen from above, oxidation, geometry — all became part of my visual language.
Today, my paintings navigate the subtle boundary between figurative and abstract. From the sky, the earth becomes rhythm, color, vibration.
Each series marks a new exploration.
Each canvas opens a journey.
