Oxidation
Inspired by magnification of copper oxidation spots
The beginning. The rebirth. The beginning.
It was with this series that I validated my return to brushes and acrylics. I was searching for myself, I was feeling my way... and I let myself slide like my brushes did on the canvas. I didn't just see rust stains but landscapes, complex and sinuous networks.

Here I present the triptych. The entire series is visible in the shop (tab "MORE").

Why oxidation?
I started painting by trying my hand at abstract art in 2005. 2019 was marked by the desire to change, to push myself to go to other territories, to explore other techniques. Oxidation presented itself, between chance and evidence since it is this journey into the infinitely small that made me evolve towards what I paint today.
