Silent brutality

This field of fossilized water in Saudi Arabia surprised me with its vibrant color. The use of an infrared filter makes the vegetation appear in luminous red tones. I chose to preserve this red, the red of a land suffering from human intrusion into its very core.
Each circle reminded me of a clock or a lunar cycle, a trace of the time during which this water was preserved. I modified the structure to find a balance on this large format, letting the shapes flow downwards like an hourglass.
Another way, for me, to let the passage of time be revealed.
